Charles-Cook Moves On

Reice Charles-Cook's agent has confirmed that the 20 year old goalkeeper will be moving on from Bury this summer after rejecting the offer of a new contract.

The news comes just a day after Bury announced the signing of experienced goalkeeper Shwan Jalal, and apparently Charles-Cook does have some interest from clubs higher up the Football League pyramid.

Lee Payne of Full Contact told Sky Sports.

'Reice decided to move on from Bury. He had a good time there and will always be grateful to David Flitcroft for giving him his Football League debut and for offering him a new contract, but he wants to explore other options.'

The youngster made his debut and a second appearance last season for us, and it'll be interesting to see where he ends up now as he moves on from the JD Stadium.
