Jalal Does Sign Two Year Deal

Bury have tonight confirmed the earlier speculation and announced that former Bournemouth goalkeeper Shwan Jalal has now signed a two year deal with the club.

The Baghdad born 30 year old came to England as a toddler and began his footballing life in the Hastings youth set up before joining Tottenham Hotspurs Academy.

In his career so far he has made just under 300 senior appearances, mostly for Bournemouth, and has good experience at that club having played his part in their promotions from League Two and League One.

He has also made five appearances for the England C Side.

Following his release by his former club, he joins us as a free agent and presumably his contract officially begins on July 1st.
