Rose Recalled By Barnsley

Rose Recalled By Barnsley

Earlier today Bury confirmed that Barnsley had enacted the recall clause they held on striker Danny Rose.

With his parent club recalling him, it obviously brings an early end to his time with us at the JD Stadium, and since joining us at the end of March, he has gone on to make six appearances for the club, and all of those were from the bench.

He has also scored three times in the league campaign for us.

His debut came in the three nil win over Northampton, where he also scored his debut goal for us and his last appearance came in last night's one nil loss to York.

The remaining two goals he contributed came in the two all draw with Scunthorpe United, and then our four nil victory over Plymouth Argyle.

Despite leaving us earlier than anticipated, the club would like to extend their thanks for his efforts in our shirt, his attitude and his professionalism for a young player, saying his time with us was 'a job very well done.'
