Carroll Joins Bury On Loan

Jake Carroll has joined Bury on an initial one month loan deal from Huddersfield Town.

The 22 year old six footer, plays on the left and has joined us with immediate affect.

He's a Republic of Ireland U18 international and already counts over 63 first team games to his name in his career, along with a Europa League appearance, and four Championship level matches for his parent club.

He's a very versatile player who can operate at left back, left wing back or left midfield and he comes very highly rated indeed.

It's quite a coup for Flitcroft and Bury because he had a number of teams interested in taking him on loan from League One but after speaking to the gaffer he decided coming to the JD Stadium would be the best step for him.
