Jackson & Mayor Look Back At Stanley

Marlon Jackson and Danny Mayor have spoken to the Official Site following the 3-0 win over Accrington Stanley.

As well as the win, Jackson had reason to celebrate after picking up his first Bury goal in the game, and he said.

'I feel really good after that, the sooner you get your first goal the better and obviously I've done that now but the main thing was to get three points for the team. We've had two really good performances but have let it slip with a few mistakes. We've cut them out this weekend and have taken the three points. The goal was just the icing on the cake for me.'

Loanee Mayor added.

'That was a good three points. We've shown glimpses in the games, we all know how we can play even though I don't think we were at our best on Saturday, but three points was the main aim.'

Mayor admitted that his illness has hampered his progress so far at the club, and he knows his fitness isn't what it should be, but that will come in time now he's able to train properly.
