John Rooney Joins Up

The younger brother of Wayne Rooney, John, has signed a 12 month contract at the club.

John began his career at Macclesfield, making 46 appearances and after leaving the club he trialled with Derby and Huddersfield before deciding to move to the MLS and the New York Red Bulls, before later joining Orlando City.

He returned to England last season, signing for Barnsley but he departed them at the end of the season.

He is another that had been on trial and had impressed.
