Retained List - Eight Stay

Bury have confirmed that eight players have been retained for the coming season, and all remaining players have been released.

The club have retained the services of those players who are naturally under contract for next season, and those whose current deals expire at the end of May have been released and are free to sign for other clubs.

The club explain that although investment talks are at an advanced stage, because of the uncertainty of the future, they are not in a position to offer new deals at this stage.

All loan players at the club have been thanked for their efforts and have now returned to their parent clubs.

Players under contract for next season are Trevor Carson, Phil Picken, Shane Byrne, Adam Lockwood, David Worrall, Craig Jones, Andy Bishop and Shaun Harrad.

Players released therefore are Joe Skarz (Rotherham), Marcus Marshall, Mark Carrington, Efe Sodje, Mark Hughes, Max Harrop, Carl Regan, Christian Dibble, Euan Holden, Jordan Melia, Dalton McLaughlin, David Healey, Cameron Belford, Craig Fagan, Tom Soares and Valery Mezangue.
