Harrad & Bishop Not Released

Harrad & Bishop Not Released

Kevin Blackwell has dismissed recent speculation that Bury have released Andy Bishop and Shaun Harrad.

Speaking to the Bury Times Blackwell said that no decisions had been made on the playing staff whilst investment talks were on going, and suggestions that under contract players had had a decision made on them were rubbish.

'There is no truth in the rumours that either player has been released. There hasn't been any decisions made at the club about anything whatsoever while investment talks are ongoing. Bishop and Harrad are contracted here until next summer, so as far as I'm concerned that hasn't changed.'

Blackwell also confirmed that nothing had progressed far enough for him to be able to tell anybody what the current state of play is regarding the financial future of the club, and he can't even arrange any pre season friendlies yet.
