Phil Picken Confident Of Pre Season Return

Defender Phil Picken has said he is confident that he'll return to full fitness in time to begin pre season training.

It has been feared that the 27 year old full back would be late back to pre season training after undergoing a second operation on his injured knee, but he explained that the procedure was 'just to clean out' the area and to get rid of some excess fluid and so far it seems to have done the trick.

Therefore the player is hopeful that he can returned to proper training before the end of the summer and be right on track for the new campaign.
