Bury Fight Back To Hold Brentford

Brentford 2-2 Bury
9th February 2013
15:00
Griffin Park

Bury twice fought back to secure an impressive, and potentially important, point at Brentford on Saturday afternoon.

After a goalless first half it was the second half that saw all the goalmouth action, however Brentford had enough chances in the opening 45-minutes to have been in complete control.

Minutes after the restart Harry Forrester (52) headed home to give Brentford the lead, however Bury were level approaching the midway point of the second half with Tom Soares (65) celebrating his new contract with a goal.

After a double save from Trevor Carson he couldn't deny Marcello Trotta (68), who was on hand to restore the home sides lead minutes later.

Bury earned a 2-2 draw though when Nicky Ajose (76) headed home late on.
