Shakers Bring In Cameroonian International

Following a successful loan spell former Cameroonian international Valery Mezague was signed by Bury on transfer deadline day.

Mezague, a free agent following his release by his Greek club Panetolikos at the end of last season, has signed for The Shakers on a "non-contract" basis with the 29-year-old in line to make his debut this weekend.

The midfielder has previous experience of football in this country, after a spell with Portsmouth almost a decade ago, so isn't completely unfamiliar with the country so that should help him to "hit the ground running" so to speak!
