Colchester Utd 2 Bury 0

17th November 2012
15:00
Weston Homes Community Stadium

Three successive defeats were ended when Colchester recorded a home win over Bury, themselves on a resurgent run, on Saturday afternoon.

Only the bar denied Bury from taking the lead, with this as close as anyone really came in a goalless first half.

Shortly before the hour Anthony Wordsworth (56) broke the deadlock to give Colchester the lead and it wasn't long before Freddie Sears (61) doubled this. This quick fire double was enough to give Colchester the points in a 2-0 win.
