Bury v Carlisle Utd

2nd October 2012
19:45
Gigg Lane

Bury are without a win this season and sit rock bottom of the league one table so Carlisle will fancy their chances of returning to winning ways following the weekend defeat, their first in five.

Lenell John-Lewis (suspected cruciate ligament) was stretched off at the weekend so, whatever the extent of the injury, will be sitting this one out for Bury

Mark Cullen is in line to make his full debut after scoring after coming on at the weekend but Craig Jones (hamstring) is still out for Kevin Blackwell, who takes charge at Gigg Lane for the first time following his recent appointment.

Carlisle could be tempted to make a few changes following the weekend defeat, but wholesale are highly unlikely. Kallum Higginbotham and Mike Edwards are pushing for starting roles though.

Liam Noble, Mark Beck and David Symington are others that could come into the starting XI but will probably be confined to the bench.
